Food and Beverage
All food and beverages are to be provided by Jeff’s Catering when at our event center with the exemption of weddings, specialty cakes & other limited desserts.
Off-Site Catering
The enclosed menus and prices also apply to our off-premise statewide catering service. Off-premise prices may be higher for parties of less than 75. Travel fees will also apply depending on the size of the group and location.
Bar Services
We are fully licensed and insured to serve alcoholic beverages, offering you complete and professional bar service. Our personnel adhere to all state laws concerning the consumption of alcohol. Our liquor license prohibits us from allowing you to bring your own onto our premises. The bar set-up fee at Jeff’s Event Center is $50.00. We are also fully licensed and insured to do your bar service at your location. Ask for pricing and details.
Menu and Event Pricing
Pricing on our brochure is subject to change due to market food pricing and other variables throughout the year. This may affect your event pricing, however, once a menu and price is selected that price will be honored. We suggest once you book a date with us that you may want to choose your menu to lock in pricing if desired. We usually adjust pricing during the winter and early spring.
Service Charge and Tax
A 20% service charge is applied to all food & beverages. Maine State sales tax is applied to all taxable items. A minimum service charge of $50.00 will is applied to any event.
Guarantees
A guaranteed number of guests will be required three days prior to your event. Food and beverage functions canceled within 30 days of the event are subject to a cancellation charge. If cancellation is due to inclement weather and re-booking is done immediately, no cancellation charge will be applied.
Wedding Deposits and Payment
120 days prior to your wedding date an additional deposit may be invoiced with the balance due the week of along with the guarantee amount of guests.
Decorations
Jeff’s Banquet Center will not permit the affixing of anything to walls, floors, or ceilings with
nails, staples, or tape unless prior approval is given. Regarding wedding receptions, no birdseed, confetti or rice is allowed in or around the event center.
